We've got deer again! They run through our back yard every morning and run through our side field every evening. It drives the dog absolutely crazy!
We also saw a bear a couple weeks ago. We just saw the tail end as it ran away from us, but it was still exciting (and just a tad scary).
Although bow hunting season is now going on, the real hunting season doesn't start for another week or two. When it does, we will hear shotgun blast after shotgun blast as people here stock their freezers with meat for the year.
