WooHoo! I got my first paid writing job. OK - it's 6 small articles and I won't make much money, but I'm so excited. I've loved writing and have always thought I did a pretty good job at it, but never pursued it as a money-making opportunity. I've always been too busy with little kids, building a career and going back to school to pursue anything personal on my own.
Even though I'm staying home through no design of my own, I feel this opportunity is turning out to really shape a new personal direction in my life. Perhaps it won't be a long-term money making venture, but the experience is certainly one I'm so glad didn't pass me by and I feel richer for it.
